Obituary of Madeline W. Bushey

Milton – Madeline “Nan” L. Bushey, 85, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the University of VT Medical Center in Burlington.

Madeline was born in St. Albans, on September 23, 1932, the daughter of Raymond and Bertha (Benway) Westover.

On November 25, 1950 she married Ralph Bushey Jr. in St. Albans VT.

They settled in Milton in 1958 where they began their family.

Nan worked for the Milton School Lunch Program for many years.  She was a member of the United Church of Milton and of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her children Deborah Moshier and her husband John of Essex Jct., Cindy Atherton and her husband Donald of Milton, Tami Menard and her husband Vic of Burlington, by 6 grandchildren Michael, Heather, Angelina, Leah, Jay & Marina, 11 great grandchildren, her brother David Westover and several nieces and nephews.

Nan was predeceased by her husband Ralph in 2009 and her sisters Christine and Lillian Corliss, her brother Richard Westover and her sister-in-law Alberta Westover.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 4-7pm in the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center in Milton.

A Funeral service will be held in the spring.  Burial will be in the Milton Village Cemetery in the spring.
