I worked at hospital with Michael.He was always pleasant and helpful,loved to tell stories,enjoyed being around people and everyone enjoyed having him around. He put patients and their families at ease and made them forget their problems for a little while.Used to enjoy visiting with Michael when he retired from the hospital and worked at Costco.He really enjoyed his working time at both places and was sad when he retired but was looking forward to spending more time with his family and friends. Am sad to hear that he is gone.

My Uncle Mike was a very special man and loved by so many. As a young child, he always brought music and laughter into our lives (and sometimes some innocent mischief). He was the pied piper, dancing around the house with all of us following in fits of giggles. Christmas in Killarney was one of the most memorable… I still sing it every Christmas. My mother, too, loved her brother very much. He will be so missed. I am counting on my cousins to carry on his spirit, his love of life and preserving the legacy of the Daley family that he represented so passionately.

My deepest sympathy to Michael's family. Mike worked at the hospital with My Mom (Mary Benoit) many years ago , she always said he was her best friend.. being very young and only remembering a few stories but from what i was told they had a great time working together , Mike was always laughing and joking. She talked fondly of him, and running into him in Hannafords a few times he told me how he missed their friendship.. May you all be Blessed with such wonderful memories.. Blessed Be

Several years ago when my wife Debra and I joined St Andrew's Episcopal Church, Michael was one of the first to greet us and welcome us to the parish. Michael was a fixture at St. Andrew's and I looked forward to getting to church early in order to engage him in lively conversation. I enjoyed his humor, his take on events, and his love of reminiscing about days gone by in Vermont. Michael Daley was a good man, a friend, and I will miss him.

Dear Alice and family - We sat down to write you a note because Michael and us
had a "special relationship." Jim was friends with his sister Liz, Michael took care of
Polly's sister Jane at the hospital, and we both served on Episcopal Diocesan committees
with him. But then we realized everyone thought they had a special relationship with
Michael because he made us all feel that way. Michael's enthusiasm for life and
loving sense of humor will be long remembered. While we're not able to attend
the funeral, we are thinking fondly of you all and praying for your comfort.

One of many of my fondest memories of Uncle Mike will always be the uncle who graciously took care of a crazy bunch of nieces and nephews for his sister every New Year's Eve with providing lots of soda, popcorn and candy treats intertwined with hours of games, dancing and singing. He would teach us all the traditional songs. I will always be grateful for him in our lives. Lots of love Jenny
