Obituary of Arthur A. Bosley
Milton – Arthur A. Bosley, 68, died unexpectedly on Tuesday October 3, 2017 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, with his family by his side.
Art was born on November 1, 1948 in Burlington, the son of Charles and Barbara ( Bessette ) Bosley.
He graduated from So. Burlington High School in 1966 and served 6 years in the Army National Guard.
Art was employed at IBM as a computer programmer for over 30 years, retiring in 2001. He was an avid long distance shooter and loved his hunts in North Carolina with his cousin, best friend and partner in crime Richard Bosley Sr.
Arthur is survived by his loving partner of over 30 years Mary Ellen Lockerby of Milton, his children Heather Jaquith of GA., Holly Caldwell and husband Brandon of WA., Charles Bosley of Essex Junction, and Jenn Bosley of Colchester. He is also survived by Mary Ellen’s children Dennis Lockerby and wife Yvonne of Colchester, Lisa Washburn and husband Jay of Barre, Cheryl Day and husband Mark of Essex Junction, his brother Slade Bosley and wife Pauline of Winooski, 6 grandchildren and 2 nephews. Art will also be dearly missed by his close friends William Yendrzeski and Paul Rogers.
There will be no visiting hours, however friends are invited to come and share stories of Art’s life on Monday October 9th, 2017 at noon at the Rotisserie Restaurant, located on Williston Rd. in So. Burlington.
