Dick was a quiet, compassionate person who overcame more than his share of life's difficulties. He was an uncomplaining courtroom presence, never a showboat and so different from other, high strung court reporters. I very much enjoyed working with him in St. Albans and Burlington.

My sincere sympathy, Linda and Kim. I met Dick 28 years ago when I first moved to Vermont. Even though I am a freelance court reporter, our paths crossed many times when we had our association and he used to do the test scoring, also, for the NCRA. I already miss his personality and easy-going-ness. He was so fortunate to have such a terrific daughter! Kind regards and deepest condolences, Linda

My sincerest condolences to Richards family and friends. I met him on Milton Rescue back in 1993. I was always impressed at how humble and quiet yet dedicated Richard was. We continue to Pray for all of you during your time of loss.

My condolences to Dick's family. I am a fellow court reporter here in Vermont, and most recently Dick filled in for me a number of days at federal court in Burlington last fall while I was out with some surgery. I've known him my entire reporting career. He always had a smile on his face and a good story to tell about some case he had reported. May he now rest in peace knowing there aren't anymore hearings to transcribe.

I graduated from high school with dick in 1961. I last saw him at our 55 vclass reunion in 2016. I am shocked at his passing as he seemed well then. He was such a warm and happy person and I'm glad he was at the reunion and I got a chance to see him and catch up. He will be greatly missed. Prayers to you and your family
