I have been a friend of the family for over 40 years. Spending many weekends and summer days at the Berards house. Mrs. Berard was welcoming and treated me as part of her family , Mr. Berard the same. I understood why they were good friends of my parents. She was a kind and considerate person. Always making sure Jeff and I were ok on our journeys checking in from time to time. She will be missed by many. She is home now and happy.

I was deeply saddened by the loss of Aunt Clairette.I have such wonderful memories
of our families spending time together when
we were all kids..my Mom often said to us that
she felt as close to Aunt Clairette as if she were
her own sister. I have always greatly admired her deep faith, and commitment to her beliefs.
She always greeted you with a genuine smile
and hug and made you feel like you were the only one in the room. Having lost my Mom a
few years ago, I know what that loss feels like.
My heart goes out to all my cousins at this difficult time. Aunt Clairette was an amazing
woman, and will be sorely missed!
