What a great guy Dale was and I am very sad that I didn't get to see him one more time before he passed away. I have lots of great memories of our family visiting you guys in Grand Isle and having loads of fun! I wanted to extend my condolences to all of and am sending hugs to you all! I am so sorry that I could not make it back for the wake and funeral. This is our last week of school so it's a rough time to take time off. I'm planning on looking up you Vermont residents when I am in town this summer.

Dale Camp lives large in my childhood memories as a man who knew how to light up a room. When he walked through the door, everyone started smiling and laughing. I was lucky to have met him the few times I did and will remember him always.

I have wonderful memories of visiting you all in when I was a kid on the weekends and of Dale, loud and hilarious and smart, telling stories and making us all feel welcome. Thank you, Dale. Sending love to all the Camps right now, would be there if I could to honor a Vermont original. PS Kevin, wearing my CAMP Precast hat almost daily as I think about your dad.

It is with great sadness at the loss of our good friend Dale. We have had such great times together with Mary over the years and was so very happy to have a visit from them just a couple weeks ago. Dale will certainly be missed by all and great memories will be had by all as he was a great man who would help anyone with anything. We had some great times with our horses and visiting the breeding farms of haflingers. Our sincerest condolences to Mary, Kevin, Patrick, Earl and Julie.

Kevin and is dad would occasionally stop by my store whien Kevin was in high school and working on becoming a serious young fly fisherman.
I always enjoyed speaking with Dale as Kevin and sometimes his good friend Tom wandered around laughing and looking for stuff they thought they needed to buy to feed their growing addiction to fly fishing.
Dale, as I recall, seemed a bit puzzled by the boys growing obsession, but enthusiastically supported the boy's keen interest in this new sport.
He was fun to talk with, always upbeat as well as a true native Vermonter (a taste of fresh air in the often rarefied world of fly fishing).
You will be missed.

Your Dad was a Great Man, of which I know very few, Kevin being one of them. Honest and sincere, hard working and devoted to his family and wife, he was and continues to be an inspiration to me to be better, to do better, especially to those around me.
I will admit though that I am hoping that when Dale got to heaven he at least discovered all this time that he was listening to the wrong TV channel. Then again, knowing Dale, by now he's already convinced the Almighty to switch it to FOX News.

Dale was the most kind hearted giving person I have known. Just last year, even having a hard time breathing and dragging his oxygen tank he took me on tours of Vt I would never have seen~~~and we did a lot of laughing with his famous laugh. A wonderful few days. Mary has been a friend for 70 years and I remember their first dates~~~her dad flashing porch lights cause they were in car too long {Dale just drivng off with Mary leaving the lights flashing}, their engagement, their wedding, hard work on the farm, building a huge business together and their great pride for all their family. A marriage made in heaven. It is with a broken heart I write this for the family. May they be comforted that the Angels and Saints came to greet him and led him to Paradise. At peace he will look upon you and laugh with pride in all your future accomplishments. God Bless You All Until You Meet Again. My Deepest Sympathy Paula Baril
