To Linwood's Family - Sorry for you loss. Linwood was a great friend and long time client. I have been helping Linwood with his tax returns since 1971. He was a wonderful person who was bright, hard working and had a great sense of humor. Always enjoyed meeting with him and talking politics and sports. Always treasure your memories of him.

Virgil and all members of the Bushey family:
It is with great sadness that I read of Linwood's (Berg's) passing. I had reconnected with him a couple of years ago through garnishing permission to take my grandson to the range for target practice.
I would get to visit with him and talk about old times, hunting, marksmanship, sports, family, politics, the economy and of course the dreaded Yankees ( I had to be careful because I am a Red Sox fan and didn't want to lose the privilege of using the range!!!). I would always try to leave him a little venison when I had some and he loved that.... He was quite a guy. And of course Virgil, you and I being high school classmates and athletes, always generated conversation!!
I'll miss my short but great visits I had with him. Another player of Essex history moves on!!!! I hope you and your family find comfort and peace in the coming days...
Sincerely, Dave Zehnacker

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Uncle Berg holds a special place in my heart. When I would visit he would tell me stories and we would laugh and talk for a bit. I will surely miss my visits with him when I come back to VT to visit family. He's back with Aunt Dot, love to them both. Cindy and Leonard
