Obituary of Kimberly Anne Oesterle

Kimberly Anne Oesterle, 58 of South Burlington, Vermont passed away unexpectedly Friday February 10th, 2017 following a brief hospital stay. She was born on October 18th, 1958 in Burlington, Vermont. The daughter of Robert and Joyce (Barber) Richard. She was a graduate of Colchester High School, class of 1977 and Champlain College, Burlington, Class of 1979. She was previously married to long time friend Steven Oesterle. For Kim, the greatest blessings in life were watching her three children grow into compassionate, caring and courageous young adults. Kim's loving generosity was in abundance at memorable family gatherings at Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve and countless other occasions. Creative talents flourished over the years in her love for her crafts and her trips to Disney World. She is survived by life long friend Steven Gerard Oesterle and father of Justin Steven Oesterle, Cory Robert Oesterle and Sara Annette Oesterle; Siblings Kathy Richard and Bob Bachand; Michael and Cyndi Richard along with their sons Ryan, Alex and Taylor; David and Ginger Richard along with their children Kristy and Jesse; Former father in-law Richard Oesterle and sister in-law Ellen Oesterle. She was predeceased by her father Robert Leo Richard in 2003. Viewing and ceremony will take place at Our Lady of Grace Church, Colchester on February 15th. Viewing begins at 9:30am. Mass at 11:00am. A burial ceremony will proceed this coming Spring at a later date and will be published in the Burlington Free Press.
