Dear Aunt Marie,
I have fond memories of visiting you and Grammy and Grandpa at 28 Walker Lane with mom when I was a young girl. I enjoyed listening to the adult conversation around the kitchen table. I also enjoyed spending time in your room because it was filled with books. You had a love of learning and a deep curiousity. You were also a great storyteller and a poetic writer. I treasure a nine page letter that you wrote to me during my semester abroad in my junior year of Providence College. Your descriptive story of your time spent in Europe was so full of color, sights, sounds, smells and reflections that I could envision your experiences so vividly.
You made your home in Vermont over 50 years ago and never looked back. Your life there was filled with joy, laughter and friendship and that makes me happy. You will he missed. Give my love to mom and dad and Grammy and Grandpa.
